Initial examination and wax-up
After taking a dental impression and creating a prosthetic wax-up with corrections, if required, the dental technician can rework it into a barium sulphite containing prosthetic proposal by means of deep drawing film. This is then polymerized onto the special GALILEOS biteplate.

X-ray examination
The scan template created by the dental technician is tried in at the dental surgery. This allows to check for its proper fit before taking the X-ray.

Virtual implantation
After X-raying, the corresponding implants can be designed at any time using the integrated planning software GALILEOS Implant. At the end of the design process, a CD with the design data is burned automatically and sent to siCAT, a Sirona company, together with the study models.

Applying the surgical template
After a few days, the finished surgical template is returned to the dental surgery. After simple immersion disinfection, it is fitted in the patient's mouth, and the implants designed on the computer can be transferred exactly
